Specialty Fasteners started in a two car garage in southern California in the early 1970's. At this time, dragsters were showing up at the local drag strips with trick looking "Specialty Fasteners".

Among these special fasteners included Jet Nuts, AN Washers, 12-Point Nuts, NAS Dimple Head Bolts, 100¾ Flat Head Phillips Screws, Truss Head Phillips and Turn Fasteners just to name a few.

As the word about these "cool" fasteners spread, the demand for them grew – so did Specialty Fasteners. We outgrew the two car garage… then two more shops and is about to outgrow its present shop. With this growth also comes a gowth in inventory and an expanded variety of products, equipment and custom made fasteners.

Our direct involvement in racing presents us the opportunity to work with many crew chiefs and race teams to develop and refine the "Specialty Fasteners" that make your race vehicle faster, safer, easier to work on, more dependable and more consistant.

This involvement allows us to be well aware of the quality of service we must provide to our customers. That is why we make every possible effort to ship orders the same day the order is received.
